“We are very proud to support Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless as it helps everyone find a place to call home.”

Lu Hang, Loan Officer/Financial Specialist, Nonprofits Assistance Fund

The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless exists to ensure that community supports are in place to prevent and address the root causes of homelessness. The Coalition generates policies, community support, and local resources for housing and services to end homelessness in Minnesota because it believes everyone deserves a safe, decent, affordable place to call home, and that homelessness is preventable.

The Coalition achieves its mission through advocacy, technical assistance, and building public awareness. It is positioned as the hub of a statewide network of 150 homeless service providers and other concerned individuals and organizations across Minnesota. The Coalition has been the voice for people experiencing homelessness and for service providers in state and federal policy decision-making since 1984.

To have the necessary cash to support its programs during a short-term gap between when expenses were occurring and grant funds were available, the Coalition secured a working capital bridge loan. NAF is proud to support the Coalition in its commitment to end homelessness by delivering critical resources so all can have a safe place to call home.
